DAB MEMBRANE SUBSTRATE
DAB
(3,3'-Diaminobenzidine) is a chemical compound
that is usually used as the water-soluble
tetrahydrochloride in permanent
immunohistochemical staining of nucleic acids
and proteins. It is oxidized by hydrogen
peroxide (HRP) to yield an insoluble dark
brown/black color end product. DAB Membrane
Substrate is a two component liquid formulation
for the rapid and simple detection of peroxidase
in membrane applications. BioFX DAB Membrane
Substrate offers increased stability and greatly
improved sensitivity.
