DAB IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY SUBSTRATE
DAB (3,3'-Diaminobenzidine) is a chemical compound that is usually used as the water-soluble tetrahydrochloride in permanent immunohistochemical staining of nucleic acids and proteins. It is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide (HRP) to yield an insoluble dark brown/black color end product.  DAB may also be used for electron microscopy. BioFX DAB Immunohistochemistry Substrate is a two component liquid formulation for the enhanced detection of cell and tissue based immunoperoxidase utilizing peroxide under alkaline conditions with stannous fluoride.  BioFX DAB Immunohistochemistry Substrate offers increased stability and greatly improved sensitivity.
