TMB HRP MICROWELL SUBSTRATES
TMB (3,3’,5,5’-Tetramethylbenzidine) is the most common chromogenic substrate for horseradish peroxidase (HRP).   In solution, TMB forms a blue product when allowed to react with HRP. Completion of the reaction by the addition of a BioFX TMB stop reagent results in a color change from blue to yellow which may be read on a spectrophotometer at 450 nm or a continual blue color which may be read at 650 nm. BioFX offers TMB with several levels of sensitivity and speed of kinetics.
