pNPP AP Microwell Substrates
pNPP (para-Nitrophenylphosphate) is a chromogenic substrate used substrate for detecting alkaline phosphatase (AP) in ELISA applications.   When AP and pNPP react, a yellow reaction product is formed which can be measured with a spectrophotometer at 405 nm. BioFX Laboratories has developed a unique patented one component pNPP colorimetric substrate for your microwell applications. While many pNPP substrates turn yellow at room or elevated temperatures, BioFX brand pNPP substrate includes stabilizing pellets that will allow the pNPP to tolerate being left out on the lab bench as well as sustaining the rigors of shipment.
